The Family Life

Well, we are surviving so far. Things seem to go from weekend to weekend. J is working every Sunday now, so the only day we have to do things is Saturday. This makes it difficult when you have church to go to, baby to watch, etc. K is trying to lift weights more regularly so that he can look better for the Hawaiian vacation. Little J is starting to be more active and is trying to roll over from his back to his front. Some good news to share is that K's cousin and his wife have had a new little one recently. Everyone came out OK. It will be nice to have someone close to J's age that he can play with. We are settling into the routine and K's Mom comes to babysit for us sometimes when J has to work during the week. She drives over two hours one way to do this. We really appreciate all the things she does for us. I think she is enjoying her first grandchild also. I hope everyone let their mothers know how appreciated they were this last weekend! If you're bored for the next few weeks, you should watch some NHL Stanley Cup playoffs. It is exciting and just might help you to get some of that aggression out that you've been holding in.
