Another first
Today was a full day. First, up early to get some running in. It was great to be able to run in the morning in 70 degree weather. Next, go to the store to get some breakfast food. Janel, Judy, Hanns, and Jaden were at the beach when I returned, hunting for little treasures in the shallow pool on the shore. They found some shells and some coral pieces that they liked. Jaden enjoyed watching and listening to the waves and dipping his feet in the water. We came back and ate breakfast. Then, Ken decided to go for a swim in the pool, and Judy, Janel, and Hanns brought Jaden down to try out his new lifevest for the first time. He had never been in a pool before. The water was little cold for him, but once he got used to it, he had some fun kicking in the water like he enjoys doing during his baths. Then, Hanns and Ken went to hike a trail by the arboretum with some beautiful views. Hanns picked this hike from his book. The same Cattle Egret kept going in front of us on the trail, searching for bugs in the grass. While we were hiking, Judy, Janel, and Jaden went to the market to find some fruits, vegetables, and other things. We ate a delicious supper and then went to try some Snorkeling at Lydgate Park. No fish there, so we headed over to Poipu just in time to see Spouting Horn at Janel's suggestion. It was too dark by this time for good snorkeling. We were sad to hear about the deaths of the three miners in Utah. Judy used to work at the hospital where they took them.
