More County Fair Fun

We had a good time at the fair with our friends watching the dock dogs jump in the water again and petting some animals. J bought a new mop to replace her foam one and we discovered a booth supporting Ron Paul for President. If you haven't heard of him yet, you might just want to check him out. Just Google Ron Paul. We also watched the motorcycle races and freestyle show. J left part way through. It was kind of loud. At the very beginning, some girl who was obviously younger than 18 started smoking right in front of us. NO SMOKING was printed in big bold red letters all over the support columns for the grandstand. I tapped her on the shoulder and told her to put it out. I think it's time that people take more of a stand against smoking in public. Everyone, including the smokers themselves, know that it's bad for them. We need to quit being shy about telling smokers to be more thoughtful about when and where they smoke, especially around children. The motorcycle show was good, they did some amazing stuff, including some backflips and other tricks. We also had to indulge in the traditional elephant ear, even though it was $5. We viewed some pictures and paintings as well. You can tell J&J enjoyed watching the horse competitions by watching the video.
